Butterflies

Monarch butterflies can be bountiful throughout the United States and in Minnesota, depending on the climate. They lay their eggs on milkweed and the larvae feed on the milkweed and grow into caterpillars that spin cocoons and then emerge as the next generation of monarch butterflies. This metamorphosis is a miraculous thing to behold and photograph.
