Woodland Wonders Prints
Woodland Wonders, Inc produces original fine art photographic prints. Each image is printed on an Epson Stylus Pro 7800 printer, using Epson UltraChrome K3 Inks. Epson states that these inks should remain colorfast for 72 years.
All images are printed on Premier Premium Photo Micropore Luster 10.4 mil paper.
All pictures were taken with Canon cameras. Film and slides were converted to digital format by drum scanning. Canon 20D cameras (8 megapixels) were purchased to upgrade to digital photography and there have been several upgrades over the years to the most recent purchase of a Canon EOS 5D Mark III camera (22.3 megapixels).
Every image has been developed in Photoshop to produce the best possible print. Images have been sized to ensure quality and sharpness. Every standard image is sized starting at 4 x 6 inches and then enlarged in size to 5 x 7 and 8 x 12 inches. Many images have been sized at 10 x 16 inches and some have been enlarged up to 20 x 30 inches. As an image increases in size, it may lose some of its detail close up, but this loss of detail becomes negligible when viewed from a distance.
Some images have been cropped to enhance the picture and these images will come in varying sizes with different prices.
Every image is the stated size and sometimes a bit larger in format. Contact us if you want an image custom designed to a certain size. Some images can be enlarged to sizes greater than that listed on the website.
All images are copyrighted and may not be duplicated, downloaded, or published without written consent. This website has been registered with the Copyright Office of the Library of Congress.
All purchased prints can be signed at your request – either on the front or the back of the image. Purchased prints will not contain the bright copyright watermark seen on the prints displayed on this website. Instead, the copyright will be smaller and colored to blend into the picture.
One image (grizzly bear) is available in scrapbook paper through PapersBest (www.papersbest.com) where it is called Bear Wonder.
Three other photographs, High Road and Low Road, Serene Sunset, and Twilight are currently being matted and framed for retail sale by Wild Wings (look under Designer Collection) (www.wildwings.com)
When Your Photographic Print Arrives
When you receive your fine art photographic print, please handle it very carefully. Ideally, it is recommended that you have your print professionally mounted as soon as possible to avoid crease or kink damage or any possible scratching.
The print retains its colorfastness best when it is mounted behind glass and displayed out of the sun. Avoid locations that will glare the photograph and do not display the photo in an area where there is moisture, such as a bathroom.
Incandescent lighting above the photograph will best display the true rich colors of the photo.
